Vanity with Cane Chair
1930's (?) Vanity and cane seat chair. I was told it was mahogany. My daughter bought it about 20+ yrs ago at a garage sale. There is a partial label on the underside of the chair which reads "J. W. Wh" and the rest of the label is gone. There is a small (1/4" rd.) metallic tab embedded in the wood on the back of one of the small tri-fold mirrors which reads "H. Lieber Co. 2" along with the word "any" and the word "??rm". Any idea why this would be on it? H. Lieber Co. was an art gallery in Indianapolis in the early 1900's. I have found no indication they made mirror frames but do not know for sure they didn't either. I'd like to know if anyone knows what era and what style furniture it is.
