How to build your own website?

Do you like efi-costarica.com so far? I hope you do, I put a lot of work in this website, to make it as informative
and enjoyable as possible. efi-costarica.com was basically set up to promote my business European Furniture Imports, s.a. in Costa Rica. People who got my business card could have a look at our antique furniture collection online, before having to visit our showroom. Of course what I was hoping for, was that people who didn't know my business would also find my collection on the internet. But, unfortunately that didn't happen.
A friend of mine designed the very first version of efi-costarica.com. Nicely done, but no traffic, nobody found my website on google, yahoo, msn, etc. So it only came down to a handful of visitor who got my card or just friends who knew I had started a website.
After getting slightly frustrated about this situation, I decided to do some research on my own (knowing nothing about how to build your own website, not to mention building traffic or even making money online?!) I started out asking some professionals about how to build your own website, but to make a long story short, they could make my site successful but it would cost me 1000nds of $$$. Understandable, but not within my budget.
Isn't there a way to build your own website, in order to change my own pictures, modify my content, be found by the search engines, and get traffic without spending all that money?
The answer is YES.
After searching the internet for weeks looking for information on how to build your own
website, I bumped into an online program called Site Build it! Damn if I had known this before, it would have saved me a lot of frustration, time and money. It seems like they teach you from A-Z how to build your own website and make it successful, without having to invest in special software. Just from your home computer.
Why am I explaining you this? Well many friends and visitors have asked me who made efi-costarica.com? I thought, why not write it down for everybody to read, so I don't have to explain how to build your own website, over and over again. Yes I'm a little lazy if it comes to repeating myself, lol.
Anyway, where was I? Oh yes Site Build it! Well if you are thinking about building your own website just have a look at there website, it contains FREE e-books, videos, testimonies of people who used the program already, etc. You can actually start learning the whole process of creating and building your own beautiful website, but the special thing about SBI is, that they teach you how you can build your own website so it will be found by the search engines, without having to pay for advertisements and all kinds of programs that will boost your rankings. Interesting stuff if you ask me!

But what if you don't have a business to promote, then what is the use of building your own website? Well, you could be amazed by the different possibilities the internet has to offer! For example, why are there websites about home made cookies, or
somebody's favorite travel destination? Are those people just making a website because they don't have anything better to do? Maybe some of them, yes, but certainly not all of them.
There are many ways to earn a "few bucks" by sharing your hobby on a website, basically the easiest way is, to put some free advertisements or affiliate links on your pages, every time a visitors clicks on an ad, you get paid! Isn't that great? It's free information for your visitors and on top of that you get paid for it! Google ads is one of those programs who offer a database of advertisers. Now all of a sudden that home make cookie site doesn't look that odd anymore does it? With links to advertisers promoting there related products to your niche, he/she is probably making some good money with there strictly informative website on how to make those cookies! This is of course only one of many ways to monetize your website, SBI teaches you how to pick the best monetizing models for your specific niche.
Finally I would like to warn you about one thing, SBI is a fantastic and superb program to become successful on the internet and it works that's proven, without having to be an Einstein. BUT, it will NOT work, if you don't do the work, this is not the program that will make you rich quick, while sleeping. In other words, it will take up a few hours of your weekly schedule to write, brainstorm, and build your own website. But once you do, you will see immediate results, and that is guaranteed!
