An Antique Secretary

I have a secretary that appears old.It does have dove tail joints with a fold down front and hidden compartments within the top portion. There is also a number on the back that has been engraved into it. The number is 12303.

I don't know anything about this type of furniture. I also am not sure how to upload a picture of this piece. It also has a hutch that sits on top. If this sound like anything of value please let me know and I will get the picture uploaded.
