antique leather chair help

My wife recently recieved notice that her Uncle left her two old antique leather chairs .We live in Australia and would need to import them from New Zealand , being a avid antique furniture collector, she was unsure as to there worth and wether it was worth paying the cost to have them sent to australia.We are not sure of  the age and importance of these items.We have tried in vain to search for the origins and value of these chairs.We can only be sure that they were brought over to New Zealand from Ireland.We have used the wooden feet to possibly asses their age but have no conclusive proof.Can anyone help us solve this riddle ?
