Any idea about this beautiful framed drawing???

My husband and I found this mother/child picture in frame; at a garage sale and couldn't pass on it. it appears to be a charcoal drawing, oval cut out, laid on burlap and put in this frame and backed with old paneling... In the bottom left corner there seems to be a signature "borg or bora" cant tell the last letter. I am very interested in seeing if someone can put a year/age to this picture, or any history really... It hangs proudly on our wall in our home and will for a long time even if there is no history to it... if needing more pictures please let me know thank you Cherie and Richard
