Any information on this China Cabinet/Hutch, please

I would really like any info on this piece. The only markings I have found are on the hardware. The skeleton key latch has N.L.CO. ROCKFORD stamped on the reverse, but I'm not sure if it is the original latch. Brass Acorns on the doors have either G83 or 683 on the reverse and the back plate of the acorn has the numbers 3705. That's all the markings I could find.
The screws are not all identical and the threads come up almost all the way to the head (some of the slots are not centered on top of the screws, also).
My mother purchased this cabinet in Rhode Island, possibly Newport in the 1960's from an elderly woman. I have been searching for similar furniture to compare and I can't seem to find anything.
I would like to know the age, style, origin, maker or maybe a clue to what it might be worth. Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to look. I hope the photo has enough detail. I will post additional photos if requested. Thanks again.
