Can you recognize this sideboard style?

French sideboard
This sideboard was recently bought in France.
I am hoping someone will recognize the style and period it might have been made.
It is extremely heavy and is about 2m or 6ft6in. long.
If I am very lucky you might even be able to tell me the maker.
