Can you tell me the style of this chair ?

I purchased this old chair at an auction. It was a piece of junk. I had it completely reupholstered professionally. He put in new springs & refinished it from inside to out . Told me it was 1880's era . It's a real beauty now . The legs are only 7 " long.My sister called it a hearth chair . I don't have the slightest idea what it is .No brand or date inside .Thanks , Savanna Lutz
