Chest of drawers in Victorian Scottish House

Chest of drawers 1
Hi folks,
I was wondering if you could help me place the following chest of drawers -
It is approx 110cm high x 130cm wide and 60cm deep (approx 43" x 51" x 24")
Story is that it was left in a house that I've bought close to Edinburgh in Scotland.
Its an old Victorian house - stone built - and it still retains a lot of its old features - architraves, decorative stairs.
I did a search on the property and it has only changed hands about 4 times (including to myself!) since its records started in 1876.
The house was in the hands of a family of cabinet makers for a number of years - whether it was made by them is another matter... maybe they just knew good furniture... maybe it came after them.
Anyway, I have no idea about this chest of drawers -
a collection of photos can be viewed at http://www.photobox.ie/album/7488231
if you click on any picture you can zoom in.
I am guessing its a mahogany veneer - on the 2nd last pic that shows the dovetails you can see the thickness - about 3mm (1/8th of an inch?)
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
Thanks very much
Gerry
