Chinese Furniture in Kansas

Chinese Chair

I am a History student at Baker University in Baldwin City KS. I am doing a research project on three pieces of Chinese furniture in our museum. It came from a rich entrepeneur in Topeka at an estate sale in 1953.

I have found out plenty about the individuals that owned the furniture, but nothing about the furniture itself. I keep visiting certain antique stores but no one specializes in Chinese furniture. I could use some help!
