Does anyone know anything about this couch?

I was working for a moving company a few years ago in western Canada. I did a job for a woman who was leaving the country. She asked us to put her most valuable property into storage, and whatever was left would be given to charity. The guy who was supposed to pick up the rest of the stuff never showed up. She asked us if we would take it to the dump because it had to be removed from the property by a specific time. I asked her If she minded if i go through the stuff and keep anything I liked. She said sure and this couch was one of the things I found. I don't know anything about it except it looks quite old and the upholstery is not original. Does anyone know how old it is, where it was made, and how much it is worth?
