does anyone know what year this sofa and chair is?

My husband just bought me this from a local newspaper add. He only paid $50 for the sofa and the matching chair. I was wondering how old they were. The tag under the cushion has the dates 1924,1926,and 1929 printed on them, saying the material was inspected by the laws in those years. I love the set, even if it is not an antique. If someone could help, that'd be great. Thanx!!!!
