Drop leaf table

My daughter recently bought a drop leaf table from a second hand store. At each end of the table is a door, and one of the doors has a 6 inch gray pull-out. After some exploration of the underside of the table, she discovered that the center piece pops up, and a folded ironing board is inside. The 6 inch pull-out if for the iron to sit on (we think). I have never seen or heard of such a table, and do not yet have printable photos. Can you provide any information about this type of table?

DROP LEAF IRONING TABLE

I also have a drop leaf table as you described. I've searched the Internet since I purchased it and this is the first information I've seen on anything close to it. The table I have also has the metal manufacture plate inside one of the doors. I would love to find out about this table as it does seem to be rare.

I too, have a drop leaf table that I recently purchased and it has an ironing board in it also. I have been searching the web and can not find any information on the table. I would like to know the era it is from and where it originated. If anyone knows anything, please fell us in......
