Ebay mahogany bed, dubious date

Well, there's a bed on ebay, address is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230210463678

Now, it's advertised as being 19th century, but I find that claim to be somewhat questionable. Beds are the area I am least familiar with, so for all I know it could be the advertised age, but I've seen plenty of people claiming they have an antique American bed, when the piece in question was clearly from the 20th century.
Anyway, if you have any advice, information, or help, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hello,

Although I don't have immediate proof, I think you are right about the age, to me it seems very 20th century also. The different parts don't really fit together either, the pineapples with those feet?! It doesn't ring any bell to which style this bed could belong to.

If you like it, buy it, but don't spend to much on it, because I don't think this is a real collectors item.
