GREGORY FURNTURE MFG CO. TACOMA WASH

I have a hope chest that belonged to my inlaws. It was purchased some time in the 1930'S as far as I know. The ceder chest was manufactured by GREGORY FURNTURE MFG CO. TACOMA WASH. There is also a paper copy attached inside the chest which states CERTIFIED US GOVERNMENT STANDARD RED CEDER CHEST. I would like to get more info if could on the chest. Both inlaws have passed on now and my wife and I have the chest now.

Some time ago, I did need to buy a building for my organization but I didn't earn enough cash and could not buy anything. Thank heaven my sister suggested to get the mortgage loans at trustworthy creditors. Thence, I did so and was satisfied with my short term loan.

Red Cedar Chest NEW
by: Diane

I too have a cedar chest that belonged to my Grandmother. She probably bought it in the 30's. There is a certificate that states it is Certified by the U. S. Dept of Ag and it is a Red Cedar Chest. I would love to know the history, where she might have bought it, how much she paid and the value now. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
