A family friend just gave me and my father this old chair because of the broken leg and my father is a woodworker. There are no stamps or burned/carved in insignia telling the manufacturer. The man that we received it from said that it has been in his family since the late 1700's to the early 1800's. if there is any one out there that recognizes it and could shed some light on it for us, that would be great. I can't really tell you much more than the picture can. So, someone please help. We want to know if it is worth fixing or not. Thank you.
