Lincoln Furniture

I have a dresser and chest combination that my mother gave to me in Jan.2008. She said her and my dad bought it from an individual in Michigan back in the 1970's, along with a bed and 2 night stands.

The dresser is made by Lincoln Furniture. The emblem inside on of the drawers has a picture of President Abraham Lincoln with the name - Lincoln Furniture and the word "quality" above Lincoln's head.
There is also an old light that still works that is attached to the chest part of the dresser.
The knobs and hardware are made of brass.
There is not a date on the dresser and I would like to know if anyone has heard of Lincoln Furniture and how old it is.
I have looked on the internet and cannot find anything about Lincoln Furniture.

Lincoln Furniture Co
by: Phil

This was probably manufactured by the Lincoln Furniture Company of Lincoln County NC. It was owned by the Spainhour family of Lenoir, NC and operated during the 1960s.

Lincoln Chair Company
by: Rhonda Bolner

The Lincoln Chair Company tag shows a bust of Lincoln, and under the bust it states, "Lincoln Chair Co. Columbus, Indiana". This is not the same as the tag you are discribing, and is not the same as Lincoln Furniture. Also........Lincoln Chair Company was NOT bought out by Orinoco Furniture Company. They were two companies owned by my great grandfather.

Try Orinoco Furniture. They bought out
a Lincoln Furniture Cc in the thirties. My mom
also has furniture with a similar seal and I have been researching.

Good luck
