marble top night stands

I purchased these 2 tables in the 1970's in Dallas at a warehouse full of English imported antiques for $500 each. At the time, the price was high for me, but I was drawn to the unusual legs and the beautiful, yet simple carving on the fronts, corners, and sides.

the knobs are not original, there is a chip on the back edge of one marble top and one of the doors has a slight gap when closed due to the slightly warped door. otherwise both are in very good condition.

there is a paper tag glued to the back which looks like a shipping label:
