Name that Couch?!?!?!?!
couch from 1855
My husband and I bought a house in 1999. There was a couch that came with the house because it was just too darn heavy to move. We decided to have it recovered and while they had it torn all apart we discovered the date 1855. My husband seems to think the name J. Zilch or some last name that started with a Z was carved into one of the arms.
Can anyone provide us some info about it??? Please see picture.
