Need help with sofa identity...

About 7 years ago my husband and I were asked to help a friend's friend move a large TV and some small items. They were just finishing cleaning up and getting ready to walk out when I asked them what they were going to do with that sofa. They said, "oh, that old thing...we're leaving it here". I fell in love with it so I asked if I could have it. They were more than happy for me to just take it off their hands. I know absolutely nothing about the sofa. I've done a lot of research based on markings to understand when and where it was made but have come up empty handed. I've had several people speculate, but nothing. Any help I get around it's identity and it's value would be more than appreciated :)

It has 8 legs, it has several Centaurs on it (the body has wings w/a long dragon like tail), the wood carvings on the arms appear to be some sort of a cross between a lions head and monkey/face/cat (strange description I know) and the feet appear to be a rounded, layer of animal hooves.
