Southern Hepplewhite Table

I have a walnut, pegged Hepplewhite table that needs a drawer. I have the wood and I suppose I can find someone in SC to recreate a dovetailed reproduction drawer. My question, are the drawers flush with the frame or do they overlap an inch or so on the sides, top, and bottom. I have seen them both ways. This table was found in lower SC.
