Tapestry foot stool

Tapestry foot stool

I "inherited" this piece along with many other household items. I was able to identify much of the china, and other fine items in the grouping, but this is the only actual furniture. This tapestry foot stool/ottoman is really cute, although somewhat worn. The pattern itself is a bit "fuzzy" and the bottom of the legs have cracks. And I'm not sure but I think the fringe around the bottom should be all they way around-it's just across the front. But it is a very solid wood base with crude looking slotted screws on the bottom of the four legs. I would really like to know what this is, it's age, and what it may be worth. Thanks for anyone that can help out!

looks Danish Modern style to me. Maybe 1960's. Look up that style and see what you think.
