Ethan Allen Dining room set

Ethan Allen Dining room set

I have an Ethan Allen, Georgina Court, Queen Anne table with 8 chairs. The chairs are stamped with "11-6211" which I have determined is the model number and below that it is stamped with "18 0378". The table also has the stamp, "18 0578".

My best guess is that they were manufactured in March and May of 1978. Is this correct? Also what is the 18?

Thank you for your help.

Looking for 2 Queen Anne chairs
by: Anonymous

We have 6 Ethan Allen Queen Anne chairs which are about 20+ years old. I do not know what kind of wood they are made of, but they have a slight red tint to them, so I would say they have a mahogany finish. We went to the local Ethan Allen store and they have some similarly shaped Queen Anne chairs for sale, but they are offered in only a black color and a light brown-honey finish. Can you tell me where I can get 2 Queen Anne Chairs like the original 6 I have in a mahogany-colored finish? I am not certain, but I believe the ones I have are Georgian Court style as depicted in the comments posted here.

ID of Ethan Allen Set
by: APS

The set you have was made in Union City, PA at the Cherry Hill Division of Ethan Allen. The factory ID # was 18. There were two manufacturing plants at this location; a dinning table and a chair plant. This location was closed in the late 1990's. I had the pleasure of managing this location in the 1980's. You are correct about the dates of manufacture. During my time at Cherry Hill we build up to 300 11-6211 Queen Ann Chairs in a day.
