Turned furniture foot

Turned foot

I have this piece of furniture. I believe it is Mahogany, I would like to know the style. approximate date if you can help. I think it is mid 1800's to late 1800's by the description in the information I read. the drawer bottom is slid pine and grain runs the length of the drawer. I cant tell if the feet are original and when did they start turning wood?
