Unknown Dinette Set

China Cabinet

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone could help me determine the origin of a dinette set that belonged to my grandfather, that was supposedly given to him by his uncle at some point. I'm only including a photo of the china cabinet, but the matching set also includes a buffet, table, and 9 or 10 chairs. My family has been wondering who made this set for many years, and also the time period when it was made. The only marking I've found is #289 written on the back of it. Any help in finding out more information would be greatly appreciated!
