Where did it come from? Where is it going?

We found this gorgeous sofa at a garage sale. Getting up early pays off! I fell in love this sofa from across the street and only hoped it was in good condition. It is.

My husband asked the lady how much she was asking for it and she replied "It's my mother-in-law's. She says $100, but we'll take $75". We gave them $80 and now it sits in our current living room waiting to be moved to a house with as much character as it has.

It is soooo comfortable but I'd like to know more about it's history. I'm thinking it's been reupholstered once (a very nice job).

We found it in Jacksonville, Florida. It might be moving to Texas soon.
