Maker's Mark

Purchased four (4) chairs at an estate auction 20 years ago. Can someone help me identify the maker of these chairs? Picture of maker's mark attached.

I too have a piece of furniture with the same marking.
The symbol represents the British Standards Institute...generally called a 'kite mark'.I have been looking at 'my piece' since childhood and now wish I had paid attention when it arrived, lol.I am in Leeds,UK.

I have a piece of furniture with the same mark, Stonehill Furniture Lisc. no 2126, 1960. I believe it is a furniture maker from the UK.

The furniture was made by:

Stonehill Furniture LTD
1960 License No. 2126

Judging by the spelling the company had been or is located in the United Kingdom.

Good Luck.
