We have a wardrobe made by "Williamsport Furniture CO, Williamsport, PA". It is 36 x 22 x 53; appears to have been painted once; has 4 small drawers on the right side, and a hanger rod that pulls out on the left.

Wondering how old it may be, and value.

I have an armoire that has 4 drs/ and metal hanger. made of Oak.good condition. i have been trying to find out how old it is and what it is worth. It has the same gold plaque. saying Williamsport furnitre Co. Williamsport Pa. Can any one tell me more about this piece, It well really be apperciated. Thanks, Lydia Waltz in Turlock Ca.

I have an oak dining room table with a matching china cupboard. It belonged to my grandmother. It is my understanding that somewhere along the line it had been painted (I think green), but my grandfather had scraped the paint off with a piece of glass and varnished it. I don't know if it had been purchased with the paint or if someone had painted it later. The underside of the table is stamped Made by National furn. Co. Williamsport, Pa.
The only thing I have found about this company is from the internet. Found under ...History of Lycoming Co. Pa edited by John F Meginness, 1892.
Under the section of 'Furniture Manufacturers', it reads the company was founded in 1892 with very little other info.

I also have a vanity and so far this is the only place I was able to find anything on Williamsport Furniture. The vanity is beautiful with custom cut mirror with etching. Here's some pics, wish I could find someone that can tell me something about this.

I have a bedroom set by Williamsport was my grandmothers who is 92yrs old, it belong to someone else who died at the age of 102. My grand mom received it when she was around 50yrs. old. I am not letting it go....
