Wondering about my new/old victorian chair

victorian tub chair?
My husband picked this up from a friend in Florida, and shipped it home to Oklahoma. Sadly the people at UPS store did not pack it well and broke one of the legs. I'd like to get it repaired, but want to be sure it is worth the effort. It has leather upholstery, in decent condition and beautiful woodwork. I think it looks like it could be a Victorian button back tub chair, but don't know that much about furniture.
